She is currently the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Workday, where she advises senior leaders on business strategy and complex legal issues across global markets. Previously, she served as Deputy General Counsel and Chief of Staff at VMware and Broadcom where her leadership in modernizing legal operations earned her recognition from the Financial Times as the 2019 Legal Intrapreneur of the Year.

Sean had a bit of a unique path which brought him to legal operations from going to university for broadcast journalism, working full-time as a sports radio & tv broadcaster for several years, then pivoting to working in the software industry at a few different companies, most recently the legal tech vendor Brightflag. That is where Sean was introduced to the wonderful world legal ops. Throughout his time there working directly with dozens of customers across the globe he became fascinated with the benefits legal ops can provide organizations large and small.
